Musical Echoes is recognized as the largest Native American Indian Flute Festival nationwide. Held at the Landing, in the heart of Fort Walton Beach with the Santa Rosa Sound as the backdrop you will be inspired by the view as the music fills the air. You will experience a wide variety of Native American Music, Dancing, and Artistry with the Indian Temple Mound Museum in the background. This festival is planned and coordinated by Musical Echoes Flute Festival, Inc., a nonprofit organization managed entirely by dedicated volunteers. This three day festival provides the opportunity for everyone to experience the Native American Culture and Arts. There is no entry fee into the festival; this is a free event, making your contribution very valuable. Musical Echoes Flute Festival provides a glimpse of our local history and culture, preserving it in the heats and minds of all ages. Everyone will enjoy family-friendly performances by extraordinary dancers and internationally acclaimed musicians. Festival revelers will have the opportunity to interact with Native American artisans, watch demonstrations, attend seminars, and even learn to play or make a Native Americna style flute.

To engage artists and musicians, Musical Echoes Festival features the following competitions: Flute Makers, Flute Player and Art. All competitors must be present to participate and utilize their time engaging with one another while expanding their expertise. All participants are recognized at the festival and prize money is awarded to the winners.
